Job Description:
Qualifications and Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering having 15 years of experience in oil and gas industry and 10 years in relevant designation or Diploma with 20 years of experience in oil and gas industry and 10 years in relevant designation.
• Proven experience as a Mechanical Construction Manager or a similar role in the construction industry.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, equipment, and construction methodologies.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings, specifications, and contracts.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively manage and motivate teams.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Familiarity with project management software and tools, computer knowledge in MS office progress reporting to project manager on daily basis.
• Knowledge of relevant codes, standards, and regulations in the construction industry.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to quality and safety.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, equipment, and construction methodologies.

• Ability to read and interpret P &I’D, GA, ISO, PFD, pipe support, structural steel drawings.
• Ability to work in a variety of environments, Fit to climb on pipe racks, high rise scaffoldings, confined spaces, and hazardous areas.
• CS, SS, LTCS, Alloy steel piping and MS/CS structurers
• Aboveground/Underground piping, structures, equipment’s
• Hydrotesting, pneumatic testing, purging, line blowing etc.
• Pre-commissioning, commissioning
Responsiblities:
- Project Planning and Coordination:
• Develop project plans and schedules, considering resource allocation, budget constraints, and project milestones.
• Coordinate with project stakeholders, including clients, engineers, and subcontractors, to ensure smooth project execution.
• Review project drawings, specifications, and contracts to identify requirements and resolve any discrepancies. - Team Management:
• Recruit, train, and manage a team of mechanical engineers, supervisors, and technicians.
• Provide guidance and direction to the team, ensuring adherence to project plans, quality standards, and safety protocols.
• Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to enhance team productivity and efficiency. - Construction Execution:
• Oversee the installation, testing, and commissioning of mechanical systems.
• Monitor construction progress and ensure compliance with project specifications, quality standards, and safety regulations.
• Identify and resolve any technical issues or conflicts that may arise during the construction phase.
• Early identification of problems with resolution.
• Job sequencing, coordination in site mobilizations, laydown setups etc. - Budget and Cost Control:
• Monitor project costs, including labor, equipment, and materials, to ensure adherence to budgetary constraints.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality and functionality.
• Review and request for purchase requisitions related to construction consumables, tools and tackles, plant equipment’s, construction aids etc. - Quality Assurance and Safety:
• Implement quality control measures to meet project requirements and industry standards.
• Conduct regular inspections and tests to verify the performance and functionality of mechanical installations.
• Promote and enforce adherence to safety regulations and best practices, creating a culture of safety on the construction site. - Construction documents:
Able to prepare construction documents like method statement, procedures, review project drawings, review project method statements, specifications, procedures, prepare/guide weld map preparation etc.
